The costs that accidents impose on communities are enormous. Ethics, on the other hand, dictates that we avoid accidents as much as possible. Therefore, it is very important to predict and prevent an accident before it occurs. One of the important strategies in order to prevent accidents is to report accident predictors. In the “Near misses” industry of accidents, unsafe practices and conditions are called accident predictors. If these predictors of events are properly reported and then analyzed by experts; they can be prevented by making the right decisions and determining an appropriate control strategy. Unfortunately, individuals do not report these predictors in organizations, and in some cases, despite individuals' reports, organizations do not have any plan to analyze and determine control strategies. Removing these barriers can be very helpful in reducing accidents.
